Overview

Skrive is a local-first writing application. Your writing stays on your device. We believe your creative work belongs to you and only you.

Data We Collect

Skrive does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data or writing content on external servers. All your projects, chapters, notes, and documents are stored locally on your device in your Application Support directory.

Analytics and Tracking

Skrive does not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry. We do not use cookies, fingerprinting, or any other mechanism to track your usage.

Third-Party Services

Skrive functions entirely offline for all writing and editing features. The only third-party service used is Formspree, which processes submissions from the in-app Report Issue / Make Suggestion form. Formspree receives the data you enter in the form (name, email, and message) solely to deliver it to us. Formspree does not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. App Store

Skrive is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain data as described in their privacy policy. This is outside of our control and governed by Apple's terms.

Contact Form

If you use the Report Issue / Make Suggestion form in the app, we collect your name (optional), email address (optional), and the content of your message. This data is transmitted to us via Formspree. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and improve the app. We do not share it with third parties.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
